Heirloom 3 Legged Pot From: Lennart

To: Rinell Book
Subject: Heirloom: 3 Legged Pot
Vase was in the home of Swedish missionaries Oscar and Hellen Rinell, in Torslanda, Sweden, a town near Goteborg. Doris (Brown) Rinell was born in Tsingtao, China on July 12, 1928.
Possibly it originally came from their home in Kioahsien, China or the home of Oscar's parents in the same town. However, my mother, Doris (Brown) Rinell does not recall it being in China.

There was no place for nicknacks , but I remember something in those colors . It is very beautiful tho. It is an insense burner . You put sand in the bowl and then the incence sticks in the sand and light them for "prayers " .Is there a stamp on the bottom ??????

Heirloom Cloisonne Vase (circa 1983) I bought this vase in China about the year 1985 when on a business trip for Apple Computer. It was bought in a government-owned tourist shop, possibly in Beijing. Cost about $100 and purhased with money that my mother-in-law, Mary Alice Martin, had given to me to buy her something. (I took a long time in selecting the item). Jill inherited the vase when Mary Alice passed away. Lennart Holmquist.
