Visiting Jan and Johanna Ersson's Grave

In 2015 Cousins Nordblom, Hermansson (Rinell) and Halabi met and visited the graves of Johan Månsson, his wife Karin (Hansdotter) in Dannemorea, Sweden. Johan Månsson was the son of the famous priest Magnus Petri. The inscription, which is now very difficult to read because of the moss, says:

J. Mansson Gökum, Karin Hansdotter. Han född Anno 1597 och Anno 1668 25 Januari afsomnad i Herranom
[J. Mansson Gökum, Karin his daughter. He was born in Anno 1597 and Anno 1668 January 25 afsomnad in the Lord.]

The cousins also visited ancestors Jan and Johanna's grave in Tenta, Sweden.

According to Erik's niece, Birgitta Nordblom (2014):

Translation:

My uncle Eric Jansson, lived most of his working life in Spångavägen, in Stockholm, where he worked in the church as music director. His wife Aira was small school teacher there. It was only after retirement in the 70's they moved to Gothenburg again.

Uncle Eric recorded always very carefully the date and location for each photo he took. I can still see him with his camera, notebook and pencil ... and this we are of course very grateful for today as we go through his photo collection.
